Representatives of the Faculty of Natural Sciences met with the coordinators of the “Agrokebety” educational project.
On August 6, the first working online meeting regarding the “Agrokebety” educational project took place, during which all its prospects were discussed. The meeting was held with project manager Anatolii Tsyrkun and Alla Kravchenko, who is responsible for cooperation with regional higher education institutions. The Dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences Natalia Matsai and the scientific and pedagogical staff of the Faculty took part in the discussion. Therefore, soon the FNS is preparing to offer students the updated master’s program “Agronomy” at our university.
“Agrokebety” is a well-known and popular educational project in Ukraine, which has been implemented since 2019 with the support of the Ukrainian Club of Agrarian Business. The training of agricultural managers of the future is an ambitious goal of the project. The narrow-profile specialists, such as plant protection agronomists, are a thing of the past. Today’s successful agricultural producers need universal “field agricultural managers” who possess a wide range of knowledge and work with automated systems. Becoming a specialist in a new format for agro-industrial complex, who possesses knowledge in the field of agronomy, agricultural engineering and business management at the same time, is a guaranteed career success. The educational program and curriculum for training such a high level of specialists was created in close cooperation with leading specialists and managers of the most powerful agricultural companies of Ukraine, who know very well what exactly a future specialist should learn. Training is provided for the educational level of master in the specialty “Agronomy”.
During the theoretical training for students, invited lecturers from leading profile companies of Ukraine, foreign specialists and university teachers speak, as wel as participation in various competitions with rewards for prizes, excursions to enterprises, mentoring support during industrial practice are offered.
