Academic Integrity at the Professional College

The online event “Academic Integrity” was held at the Professional College of LTSNU.

On September 7, an event was held in the Separate Structural Subdivision “Professional College of  Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University”, which was attended by students and teachers with the aim of forming an academic culture.

Natalia Motunova, Director of the College, opened the event with an opening speech. She spoke about the principles of the academic integrity. The Candidate of Philosophical Sciences, Associate Professor of the College Olha Kostiuk prepared a presentation on the essence of academic integrity and its violations (academic plagiarism, self-plagiarism, fabrication, falsification, writing off, deception, bribery, biased evaluation).

In addition to the theoretical part, a practical part was organized, during which the participants were able to identify types of violations of academic integrity. In general, the lecture was quite rich and productive.
