University administration visited Myrhorod

On September 6, the administration of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University paid a working visit to Myrhorod city.

The delegation included:

• Olena Karaman, Rector;
• Vitalii Kurylo, the First Vice-Rector, Head of the Academic Council;
• Artur Moldovanov, Vice-rector for Administrative and Economic Work;
• Mykola Semenov, Head of the Information Technologies Center.

The representatives of the university met with the administration of the city of Myrhorod, in particular, the Mayor Serhii Solomakha and the manager of the Executive Committee of the City Council Antonina Nikitchenko. At the meeting, issues related to the creation of conditions for the organization of the educational process in the city for the faculties, institutes and colleges of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University were discussed.

So, as of today, the university structural subdivisions have all the material and technical conditions necessary for the organization of the educational process. In addition, all safety conditions have been met.

The integration of Luhansk National University into the educational space of the Myrhorod community, possible areas of cooperation between the University and the City Council were considered. In general, the representatives of the local authorities showed interest in the existence of structural subdivisions of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University and their development as part of the community.

During the working visit, meetings were also held with the management of institutes, faculties and colleges, where the beginning of the academic year in Myrhorod was discussed. The university administration listened to the reports of the heads of the structural subdivisions of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University on the organization of the educational process in the conditions of martial law and evacuation.

Currently, the search for ways to solve problematic issues is underway, based on the conditions and peculiarities of wartime and work in evacuation.

The results of the working visit:

• improvement of business relations between Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University and the administration of Myrhorod community, creation of conditions to ensure mutual development;
• resolving issues and making corrections regarding the organization of the educational process in the university structural subdivisions; ensuring full and safe work of the university.
