Meeting of the Student Council at the FUPJ

On August 25, an organizational meeting of the Student Council of the Faculty of Ukrainian Philology and Journalism was held using the Google Meet platform.

At the beginning of the conference, the student dean Yulia Budantseva congratulated the members of the Student Council on the beginning of the academic year and announced the plan for further work. She talked about the changes that took place at the Faculty, the appointment of the Acting Dean, Professor Artem Halych, change of the faculty name, creation of new departments and election of new members of the Student Council.

The post of the student deputy dean was headed by Illia Tocheny, second-year student; the representative of the trade union of the Faculty was Maria Grekova, second-year student; Sofia Makarenko, second-year student, was elected the secretary of the Student Council. The new departments of the Faculty were also created.

The student dean devoted a significant part of her speech to the areas of work of the Student Council, namely: the need to intensify scientific work, improve the quality and success of studies, and more active participation of students in the life of the faculty and university. The Council members planned and agreed on the work plan for the new academic year.
