Independence Day of Ukraine at the FNS

The Faculty of Natural Sciences celebrated the Independence Day of Ukraine.

Every year, teachers and students of the Faculty of Natural Sciences of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko  National University celebrate the Independence Day of Ukraine. And this 31st anniversary was no exception.

The year 1991 played a special role in the formation of the Ukrainian nation. It was then that our people chose the long-awaited independence and began the development of their own state. August 24 is a day of national pride and respect for the freedom fighters of the Motherland for every Ukrainian. That is why the Defenders of Ukraine should become new heroes for each of us, especially for children and youth, and knowledge about them and their participation in the struggle for Ukraine should be the basis for establishing Ukrainian civic identity.

We thank everyone who showed their strength during this time, everyone who fought and is fighting for Ukraine, who fights and helps our soldiers, our state. Our unity, our faith in ourselves made it possible to pass these six months and approach this day, which is always important for every Ukrainian. Ukrainians can rightfully feel proud of themselves, their country and their heroes. Since February 24, Ukrainians have proven that our people are invincible, our Defenders are invincible. It is the duty of each of us to remember all those who were torn from the arms of their relatives forever by enemy shelling!
