Celebrations for the Day of the National Flag of Ukraine

The second week of offline learning began at the Faculty of Foreign Languages.

The national project “Place of Honor and Gratitude” was implemented by students, advisers of academic groups and lecturers of the faculty.

The goal of the project is to affirm the Ukrainian civic identity by forming and preserving the historical memory of the events of the Russian-Ukrainian war and popularizing the heroic image of the Defenders of Ukraine.

From the first days of the Russian-Ukrainian war, Ukrainians stood up to defend the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine. The Defenders show considerable heroism in the fight against the enemy every day. They become new heroes for each of us, and especially for the youth, and knowledge about them and their participation in the struggle for Ukraine should be the basis for establishing Ukrainian civic identity.

As part of the project, the Faculty of Foreign Languages set up an information stand dedicated to the Defenders of Ukraine, who took part in the Russian-Ukrainian war.

At the same time, the Faculty celebrated the Day of the National Flag of Ukraine, which, as a symbol of the country, is the embodiment of national unity, honor and dignity, state-building traditions, history and the present.

The Faculty of Foreign Languages is happy to contribute to the formation of permanent knowledge about the heroic struggle of the Ukrainian people for the establishment and preservation of the sovereignty of their own state, the ideals of national dignity, freedom, national unity, as well as to increase the level of civic consciousness of young people, the formation of a sense of pride for their country and readiness to fulfill their duties connection with the defense of the independence and territorial integrity of Ukraine based on the heroic example of the Defenders of Ukraine.

We honor the memory of all the defenders of Ukraine who died in the struggle for the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of our country, and we believe in an early victory.

Glory to Ukraine! Glory to heroes!
