Луганський національний університет імені Тараса Шевченка

Bright memory…

On August 9, sad news came to the Faculty of Natural Sciences of our University. Natalia Demidova, teacher of the Department of Gardening and Ecology, head of the Primary Trade Union Organization of the FNS, passed away prematurely.

The death of Natalia Volodymyrivna is an immense loss, both for her relatives and for the entire university staff.

Natalia Volodymyrivna devoted her entire professional life to her Alma Mater – Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, Faculty of Natural Sciences. Natalia Volodymyrivna came to the university as a student, immediately after finishing school, choosing to study the specialty “Geography and Biology”.

After graduating from the university, the talented student was invited to work at the Department as a laboratory assistant. After that, for many years Natalia Volodymyrivna held the position of the head of the Winter Garden and taught environmental students and horticulture students. It is impossible to forget the flower compositions that were created annually under the leadership of Natalia Volodymyrivna on City Day by our university. Always smiling, she was at the center of social and humanitarian work at the university, faculty, and department.

She was one of those people who put business interests above personal interests. Everyone who had the opportunity to communicate with Natalia Volodymyrivna remembered her as humane and sincere, open and cheerful, ready to come to the rescue at any moment. Students and young colleagues always called Natalia Volodymyrivna “university mom”. Natalia Volodymyrivna was also a real trade union leader who defended the interests of teachers and students of the Faculty for many decades in a row. Natalia Volodymyrivna was repeatedly awarded with diplomas, commemorative signs, and other awards at the university, city, regional, and all-Ukrainian levels.

Together with her husband, Natalia Volodymyrivna created a happy family and raised two wonderful sons who always took care of their beloved mother.

These days, we share the grief of a loving family – husband, sons, relatives and loved ones, and ask you to accept our sincere condolences and wishes for courage, health and faith.

Bright memory and eternal peace to our Natalia Volodymyrivna!

You will forever remain in our hearts.
