Happy Day of Ukrainian Statehood!

Dear students, teachers, employees, graduates, postgraduate students, and doctoral students of our glorious university! We sincerely congratulate you on the Day of Ukrainian Statehood!

The time has come when our long-suffering country must once again defend its independence, sovereignty, and indivisibility. However, we are sure that Ukraine is the only legitimate heir of Kievan Rus. It is the heiress of the Cossack State, the legal successor of the Ukrainian People’s Republic and the Ukrainian State of Hetman Pavlo Skoropadskyi.

The university staff continues educational, research and scientific work, which will eventually fill the difficult history of the State with concrete content. Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University has already shown its devotion to the Ukrainian nation for the fourth time, so this holiday has a special meaning for it.

In spite of Russian aggression, we wish everyone stability of spirit, confidence and loyalty to their native country. Every citizen must remember and respect the history and laws of their country so that there is always friendship, respect and mutual understanding between people. We are sure that this time Ukraine will win again, recover and flourish to the detriment of all enemies!
