Working meeting in the city of Lubny

The university administration paid a visit to the city of Lubny, where a working meeting was held.
On July 20, a working meeting of Rector Olena Karaman with Deputy Mayor of Lubny Iryna Kharchenko took place in Lubny city, with the participation of the heads of the structural subdivisions of the university and the executive committee of the Lubny City Council.
During the meeting, preparation for the new 2022/23 academic year was discussed, in particular: organizational and technical issues related to the allocation of space for classrooms and a dormitory; prospects for the training organization; the results of the work within the framework of the signed cooperation agreement were summarized.
It should be reminded, that on June 24 Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Lubny City Council of the Lubny District of the Poltava Region, as part of which on the Vokzalna Street, 7 houses the consultation center of the admissions committee and the administration of educational and scientific institutes and professional colleges.
The university delegation was represented by: Rector Olena Karaman, Acting Vice-Rector for Administrative and Economic Work Artur Moldovanov, head of the Trade Union Organization Volodymyr Moroz, head of the Information Technology Center Mykola Semenov, Director of the Educational and Research Institute of Commerce, Serving Technologies and Tourism Eduard Potapenko.
During the meeting, Olena Karaman, emphasized the urgent issues facing the university, who are currently successfully conducting an admission campaign in the Poltava region, while organizing the educational process in wartime. She noted that offline mode of learning requires a comprehensive approach, because the priority is the safety component. Therefore, studies at the university are planned to be conducted in a mixed format.
According to the results of the meeting, clear tasks regarding the preparation of our university before the beginning of the new academic year in the territory of the Lubny community were outlined, and various proposals were considered for solving the issue of space allocation for the successful functioning of the university in the Poltava region.
