Ukrainian Leaders Development Program: TESOL Innovations, Collaborations and Results

The Foreign Languages Department has become a professional participant of the “Ukrainian Leaders Development Program: TESOL Innovations, Collaborations and Results” project.

This project is implemented by graduates of the English Language Fellows Program and is funded by the Bureau of Education and Culture of the US State Department.

ULDP is a professional development project for Ukrainian teachers and students from all over Ukraine, which brought together seven TESOL professionals from the USA as facilitators of virtual seminars, as well as 50 Ukrainian teachers. The program for teachers will include ten virtual training workshops on a variety of topics, such as: Cultivating Conversation & Cultural Curiosity; Academic Writing Strategies; Using Storytelling to Promote English Fluency, etc.

It is planned that after the courses, the facilitators will join Ukrainian teachers and their students in virtual lessons to introduce new pedagogical tools, methods and resources from the seminars.
