Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University received humanitarian aid from the United Nations Refugee Agency.
This week, teachers and students of our university, with the assistance of the “Prolisok” Public Association, received humanitarian aid (mattresses and pillows) from UNHCR Ukraine. Thanks to the support of benefactors, the university teachers and staff, who now successfully continue to carry out educational activities in Lubny, Myrhorod and Poltava, received 600 sets. All students and teachers who evacuated from Luhansk region and are now settling in Poltava region received such a necessary humanitarian cargo.
“All university teachers and students living in the Lubny, Myrhorod and Poltava communities received the necessary humanitarian aid from our international partners. I am sure that we will feel comfortable in the conditions where we live now and will be able to have a good rest after the working day, which is currently very busy, because the active phase of the admission campaign is ongoing,” said the Head of the Primary Trade Union Organization, Volodymyr Moroz.
The university sincerely thanks for the help. We are sure that with such support from benefactors, we are getting closer to the victory day, because a united nation cannot be defeated!
