Online Applicant’s Day

Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University traditionally held an Online Applicant’s Day.

On July 1, the admissions campaign 2022 started at our university, and the admissions committee and its counseling centers in Poltava, Lubny, and Myrhorod started their work. The key to its successful work is the holding of the Online Applicant’s Day. It should be noted that during the year, the university staff actively communicate with potential entrants in order to advise and explain the advantages of studying at our university, providing answers to current questions.

Today, July 2, with the help of the Google Meet online platform, the Rector of the University, the Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work, the responsible secretary of the Admissions Committee, directors of educational and research institutes, deans of faculties, deputies, heads and representatives of departments communicated with the entrants.

“Dear applicants, we congratulate you on the start of the admissions campaign. Yesterday, all higher education institutions, institutions of professional pre-higher education started an admissions campaign. As of yesterday, you can already register online cabinets and choose the specialties and educational institutions you want to enter. Also, the creative contests started yesterday, so I congratulate all colleagues who have already started work, and the applicants who participated in their submission,” said Rector Olena Karman at the beginning of the event. She familiarized the online attendees with our university, its structural subdivisions; spoke about what Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University is today.

During the meeting with the applicants, Oksana Korchagina, the responsible secretary of the Admissions Committee, explained in detail the procedure for submitting documents us and informed about the course of the admissions campaign, where she noted that the registration of applicants’ electronic accounts and the uploading of the necessary documents began on July 1. From July 1 to July 18, entrance tests and creative contests will be held for people who have expressed a desire to study at the expense of the state budget, and from August 9 to 16 – at the expense of individuals (legal entities). No later than August 17, 2022, the rating lists of persons recommended for enrollment based on the results of the interview will be published, with a notification of whether or not they have received the right to obtain higher education at the expense of the state budget (according to the state order).

Applicants who expressed a desire to study for a master’s degree from August 1 register online cabinets and take entrance tests during June 27 – September 10. No later than September 20, the admissions committee must publish the rating lists.
