Online Applicant’s Day

Today, June 25, the University traditionally hosted the Applicant’s Day. 

The purpose of the weekly Applicant’s Days at our university is a step-by-step explanation of the features of the 2022 admission campaign and the rules of admission to our higher education institution. Wartime conditions forced our staff and students to evacuate to Poltava region, so applicants should know as much as possible about our university, its structure and available specialties.

Traditionally, the event was held on the online platform Google Meet and duplicated on the official Instagram page of the university. The Rector Olena Karaman, Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work Yaroslava Yurkiv, Executive Secretary of the Admissions Committee Oksana Korchagina, directors of educational and research institutes, deans of faculties, deputies, heads and representatives of departments of structural subdivisions of LTSNU represented the university today.

At the beginning of the event, the Rector Olena Karaman addressed the audience: “Dear entrants, dear parents, teachers, principals, the entire educational community and everyone who hears and watches us today. I am very glad that you have joined our event, because today the holding of the Applicant’s Day is decisive, because the admission campaign-2022 will start on July 1.” Olena Leonidivna told about our university, its history, achievements and existing structural subdivisions. Currently, it is a large educational and scientific production complex, which includes 8 educational and research institutes, 3 faculties, 6 vocational colleges and the Regional Center For Professional Education, which together provide training for all levels of education that exist in the educational space of Ukraine including a junior professional bachelor, bachelor, master, doctor of philosophy and doctor of sciences.

During the meeting with the applicants, the Executive Secretary of the Admissions Committee Oksana Korchagina spoke in detail about the features of this year’s admission campaign, the procedure for submitting documents, and focused on the dates of the national multidisciplinary test.

The applicants and their parents, in turn, asked a large number of questions due to the constant dynamic changes under martial law. They received answers to questions about the required documentation, passing score, application deadlines, deadlines for the multi-subject test, conditions for creative entrance exams, the possibility of admission through the educational center “United Ukraine” and more.
