Defense of course projects

On June 10, the Design Department of the ER ICSTT held the defense of course projects on “Project Design”.

The educational component “Course Project on Project Design” is an important component of training full-time and part-time bachelor’s students majoring in 022 “Design” and one of the types of educational and research work aimed at consolidating and generalizing theoretical knowledge acquired by students during training, improvement applicants for higher education skills in art and design activities in the field of manufacturing advertising products for their use in solving the outlined tasks for the development of complex design and graphic solutions.

The purpose of writing a course project is to form the ability to solve problems in the field of graphic design, involving the use of design theories and methods, improving mastery of artistic and creative technology, project activities in designing certain types of advertising products, developing creative attitudes to graphics, improving the skills of graphic editors.

The third-year students majoring in “Graphic Design” presented their course projects with designed branded elements. Their works were written under the guidance of Halyna Bogucharska, a lecturer of the Design Department. The head of the Design Department Iryna Prodan, joining the defense, praised the high level of development of advertising products.

Implementation of the course project gave students the opportunity to demonstrate the level of independence of pre-project research in the field of graphic design, identify creativity, ability to critically analyze existing prototypes to build a holistic author’s concept of graphic design, demonstrate originality and professional level of proposed design, elements of novelty in the implementation of objects, possession of technical capabilities of modern graphic editors.
