FIRST AID SCHOOL

LNU invites everybody interested to take part in the joint project with the Red Cross Society “First Aid School”. The first lesson is on January 21 at 12:00!

Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University jointly with the Ukrainian Red Cross Society starts the project “First Aid School”.

“People should know how to prevent, react upon and overcome the consequences of the emergencies. First aid training is very important in this regard”.

The Ministry of Healthcare of Ukraine understands the necessity of the operating system of first aid, so it has passed a number of orders on creating the first aid training educational system for the non-medical persons. The Red Cross Society pursuant on the Order No. 132 as of 02.03.2009 can take part in the education process.

The society provides the trainings in first aid within the statutory activity but this work required system reorganization and the society has started it.

In 2010 it created the Conception for development of training system on first aid to prepare people to react on the emergencies.

Statutory activity includes continuous first aid training. And now this project is implemented at LNU as well.

School program includes 6 academic hours. The classes are conducted at the premises of the university twice a week (3 hours each) or tree times a week (2 hours) (depends on the participant preferences).

Teachers, university members, postgraduate students, assistants, laboratorians, secretaries, etc. are welcomed to take part in the project!

All graduates will obtain the world-recognized certificates that are of great value when travelling abroad and during the employment process. It should be noted that the training is free of charges. In other countries similar lessons cost from 50 dollars (!).

On February 1 such courses start at Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University.

The first lesson is on January 21 at 12 o’clock!
