Certification of graduates

On May 23, the Design Department held a comprehensive exam for full-time and part-time bachelor’s students majoring in 022 “Design”. 

20 students, who studied the educational programs “Graphic Design” and “Environmental Design”, were admitted to the defense. Given the situation in the country, the exam was conducted online on the Google Meet platform for three hours.

The exam consisted of two parts: theoretical and practical, of which the most interesting was the practical part. During the practical task, students had the opportunity to show professional skills, readiness to implement their creative ideas, performing creative work in such disciplines as “Drawing”, “Typography”, “Design of Books and Fonts”, “Work in the Material”.

In the presence of the chairman and members of the examination commission – the head of the Design Department Iryna Prodan and the Professor of the Design Department Viacheslav Borisov, examination tickets were distributed among the students.

Graduates provided answers to theoretical questions and completed practical tasks. Thus, for graduates of the specialty “Design” the task was to make a sketch of the constants of the graphic complex or corporate style for the enterprise or organization, for graduates of the specialty “Interior Design” – to place furniture on a perspective image.

The State Commission, headed by Lilia Saprykina, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Senior Lecturer, Department of DPM and Design, Kryvyi Rih State Pedagogical University, noted the high level of fulfillment of tasks set for graduates.

The commission noted the best answers of graduates, and graduates Yana Dudkina, Tetiana Kurus, Alona Andreieva will receive diplomas with honors.
