Work of the scientific circle
20.5.2022
The Science Days were held within the framework of the scientific circle of the Department of Physical and Technical Systems and Informatics.
During the event, higher education applicants and teachers of the Department made reports. It is worth noting the work of the first-year student majoring in Secondary Education (Mathematics. Physics) Yevhen Kuriachyi on the topic “Thermonuclear Fusion” (supervisor – Natalia Vasylenko). The report on “Intellectual Potential of the Individual” was made by Ph.D. Lina Bondarenko.
The following works were prepared within the scientific activity of the Department:
- “Repetition, Testing and Control of Students’ Knowledge of Physics with the Use of ICT” (student of group 3 SE (Mathematics. Physics) Konstantyn Kiselov, supervisor – Ph.D. L.I. Bondarenko).
- “Smart House” (A. Bakhmet, supervisor – Assoc. Prof. Y.L. Tikhonov).
- “Algorithms for Image Compression Without Loss of Information” (Oleksandra Krutko, supervisor – Assoc. Prof. G.O. Kozub).
- “Review of GITHUB Opportunities” (Oleksandra Krutko, supervisor – Assoc. Prof. Smagina OO).
Also, the Department held the online Olympiad in physics, which was attended by eleven students of various specialties. According to its results, the winners were determined. Thus, Yevhen Kuryachyi (1st year) took the first place, Konstiantyn Kiselov (3rd year) and Dmytro Dvornikov (1st year) took the second place, and Oleksandr Malinskyi (2nd year) and Yana Snopenko (1st year) took the honorable third place.
Earlier, members of the research group took part in the seminar “Academic Integrity in the Free Economic Zone”, which was organized by the University Library. Upon its completion, all participants received certificates.
Currently, despite the difficult conditions, the scientific circle continues its work in online format. Useful scientific selections are being created, and higher education students are joining new scientific and educational projects.
