Science Days at the ER IPES

On May 18, a Student Scientific Conference was held at the Educational and Research Institute of Physical Education and Sports.

Despite the difficult circumstances related to Russia’s military aggression against Ukraine, the Department of Physical Therapy, Ergotherapy and Human Health of the ER IPES traditionally hosted the Student Scientific Conference dedicated to the Science Days in Ukraine. The event was attended by more than 30 higher education applicants and teachers of our university and the State Institution “Luhansk State Medical University”.

Oleksandr Dubovyi, Director of the Educational and Research Institute of Physical Education and Sports, and Oleh Vinogradov, Head of the Department of Physical Therapy, Ergotherapy and Human Health, addressed the conference participants with a welcoming speech.

During the conference, ten reports were heard on current health issues, including the state and prospects of rehabilitation in Ukraine, the use of therapeutic exercises for various diseases, issues of psychological rehabilitation of veterans and servicemen in Ukraine, diagnosis, prevention and treatment of anxiety of depressive disorders, etc.

At the end of the event, all speakers received certificates of participation in the conference.
