Starobilsk is temporarily occupied

Dear students, teachers, staff of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University!

As a result of Russia’s large-scale war against Ukraine, which began on February 24, 2014 and has been going on for 20 days in a row, the city of Starobilsk and the buildings of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University are temporarily occupied by Russian terrorist groups.

The occupiers raised the flags of the terrorist organization “Luhansk People’s Republic” and the illegal educational structure “Luhansk State Pedagogical University” over the university buildings.

Be careful! These illegal structures call for the transfer of students to the so-called “pedagogical university”.

We emphasize: diplomas of the so-called “LPR” are not recognized by the world and even by the Russian Federation since 2014!

From March 2022, Russian diplomas will not be recognized worldwide due to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine!

The university is not a wall, but a team of students and teachers! So do not succumb to criminal propaganda!

Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University works full time. The University Management Center has been temporarily transferred to the central part of Ukraine to the educational bases of the Faculty of Foreign Languages ​​and the Educational and Research Institute of Culture and Arts.

From March 11, 2022, the educational process was resumed in all university structural subdivisions by distance learning!
