Implementation of UPS Project

On December 12 – 13, 2015 The Ukrainian Peacebuilding School implemented its project “State History and Modernity through the Eyes of Students”.

The project objective is the assistance in forming Ukrainian social identity for the students of SE “Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University” by holding a number of specialized educational events.

The organizational stage was conducted in Starobilsk. Meeting with the representatives of Ukrainian Peacebuilding School was in Kharkiv and the excursions were in the village of Skovorodinka, Zolochevsk District of Kharkivska region.

25 students from SE “Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University” of different courses, specialties and ages took part in the project. Also the group included the students of privileged categories: 1 child without parental care, 1 disabled child and 10 internally displaced children who live in the dormitory. Total number of project participants is 25 persons: students and teachers.
