Training continues at Clarivate webinars

Teachers of the Ukrainian Language Department continue their studies at webinars from Clarivate.

In May 2022, Clarivate launched a new series of webinars for scientists.

On May 5, teachers of the Ukrainian Language Department continued their studies at the next webinar on “Web of Science Core Collection for Effective Scientific Activity”, conducted by Clarivate representative Iryna Tykhonkova.

During the webinar, teachers had the opportunity to learn about the possibilities of the scientometric database Web of Science Core Collection for scientists, teachers and administrators.

The lecturer acquainted the participants with information on where to find key literature on their topic; where to find a partner or reviewer; which institutions and scientists are leaders in a particular area, how to contact them.

The webinar provided answers to the questions: which publications specialize in a particular topic?; which institutions funded such research?; how to find answers to these questions using basic search using search operators and abbreviations?; how to single out the most cited works of recent years?; how to save and share the most interesting data with colleagues?; how to analyze a sample of documents? etc.

At the end of the webinar, the lecturer answered other questions from the registration forms of the participants and provided information materials for further processing and use in the work.

According to the results of the webinar, participants will traditionally receive certificates.
