Participation in a scientific webinar

Scientific and pedagogical staff of the Department of Commodity Research, Trade Entrepreneurship and Goods Expertise took part in a scientific webinar.

Thus, research and teaching staff of the Department of Commodity Research, Trade Entrepreneurship and Goods Expertise  joined the scientific webinar on the importance of creating relevant scientific collections: “Register for Research Smarter: How to use Clarivate Resources to Form Library Collections.”

The event was conducted by Iryna Tykhonkova, Clarivate Analytics Regional Solutions Consultant (Head Office: London, UK). During the webinar we found out: the problems faced by researchers and teachers of Ukrainian and foreign universities; the need to create your own collections using all possible tools, including Clarivate resources.

The event focused on the importance of creating scientific collections that affect not only the scientific component but also the educational process; formation of citation reports for each research and teaching staff; opportunities to expand your own collection with free access to millions of full-text articles. An important way to increase publishing activity can be joint publications with international colleagues who have appropriate grants and have the opportunity to provide open access to articles.

During the webinar, the scientific and pedagogical staff of the Department learned about the updated information resources of 2021, which provide an opportunity to select journals from IF, the most cited publications, with the possibility of using EndNote ClicK (formerly Kopernio); to determine the leading scientists in a certain scientific direction; to find out where science is moving in a particular specialization, which is important for scientific authorship.

According to the results of the webinar, certificates were received.
