Completion of the Science Days at the PTPE Department

The Science Days ended with a round table at the Department of Production Technologies and Professional Education.

Thus, on April 28, a round table “Innovations in the Automotive Industry” was held, chaired by Ph.D., Associate Professor of the Department of Production Technologies and Professional Education Valerii Kolesnikov. The event was attended by teachers of the Department and 37 applicants for higher education. Reports were made by 2 teachers and 12 students.

The work of the round table began with a greeting from the head of the Department V.V. Burdun, who thanked the graduates for their hard work in such difficult times and supported the initiative of the department in holding this event.

At the beginning of the round table teachers of the Department: Associate Professor V.O. Kolesnikov, who spoke about the use of computer vision for analysis and recognition of wear products of tribotechnics of cars and Associate Professor O.O. Reviakina, who presented a report on “Synthesis of Gears with Arch Teeth According to the Criterion of Wear”. Then the applicants of higher education shared their scientific achievements.

According to the materials of the round table, the students of the Department prepared 16 scientific articles in the field of motor transport, which will be published in the collection “Scientific Activities of Young Researchers”.

The Science Days took place at the PTPE Department for three days. In total, 9 reports of teachers and 32 speeches of students were presented. It should be noted a rich program of events and interesting research materials presented by teachers and students of the Department.
