Online Applicant’s Day

On April 30, the University hosted Online Applicant’s Day.

Applicant’s Day is held to tell applicants about our university and its specialties, to acquaint with the peculiarities of the admission campaign and training, as well as to answer all the questions that, in such a difficult time, many graduates and their parents have. 

Traditionally, the format of the event has been adjusted to meet the needs and challenges of wartime. For the third time, during the full-scale war in Ukraine, an online briefing on the Google Meet platform was chosen to meet with entrants. More than 130 people took part in it, of which 91 people joined the meeting on the service, and 42 – participated in online communication on the official Instagram page of the university.

The online meeting was attended by: Vice-Rector for Research and Teaching Yaroslava Yurkiv, Deputy Executive Secretary of the Admissions Committee Maryna Oleinykova, directors of educational and research institutes, deans of faculties, deputies and heads of departments of structural subdivisions, representatives of the university structural subdivisions.

At the beginning of the event, Vice-Rector for Research and Teaching Yaroslava Yurkiv addressed the audience and said: “Today, we are once again holding Applicant’s Day and invited you to talk about our university and answer all your questions.”

The Deputy Executive Secretary of the Admissions Committee Marina Oleinykova acquainted the audience with the university structural subdivisions and the list of specialties available to them as well as told about the admission campaign-2022.

Many questions from future entrants were sent to the online chat during the meeting. They asked about drawing up creative competitions and a test of educational competencies; the possibility of online interviews when entering from the temporarily occupied territories; features of filling in the motivation letter; issuance of diplomas and more.

At the end, answering all the questions from the chat, Yaroslava Ihorivna thanked those present for participating in the event and announced the next Applicant’s Day, which is scheduled for May 7.
