All-Ukrainian Interdisciplinary Scientific and Practical Conference

The First All-Ukrainian Interdisciplinary Scientific and Practical Conference took place at the University.

Thus, on April 27-28, Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University hosted the First All-Ukrainian Interdisciplinary Scientific and Practical Conference “Current Issues, Problems and Prospects of Science and Education Development”, organized by the University together with the Council of Young Scientists and Higher Education Applicants. The event included 35 thematic areas, which covered each structural subdision of the university.

The announced speakers were researchers and graduates from all over Ukraine: Poltava, Starobilsk, Kyiv, Rubizhne, Lviv, Severodonetsk, Ternopil, Melitopol, Svatovo, Uzhgorod, Kharkiv, Henichesk, Chernihiv and others.

Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Rector of the University, Ms. Olena Karaman; Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor, Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work, Mr. Anatolii Zhuchok; Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of International Relations, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, Ms. Iryna Myhovych addressed the participants with a welcoming speech. 

The conference was opened by the Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Conference, Lecturer of the Department of Theory and Practice of Translation, Deputy Chairman of the Council of Young Scholars and Students of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, Ms. Olga Korinska and Deputy Chairman of the Conference Organizing Committee, Lecturer of Oriental Languages Ms. Olena Ovcharenko.

The presentation of scientific reports began with an interactive acquaintance with the conference participants, where they had the opportunity to present themselves in a minute, as well as answer the question “Who am I? How do I feel? ” This was done to identify ourselves right now, during the war, because people are under constant stress and need to communicate. In addition, the speakers were trained in the development of productive coping strategies “Overcoming Behavior” and a lecture on “Making a bibliographic description in the list of sources used.”

On the second day of the conference, the following activities were held: a lecture on “Features and Differences of Scientist Communication: Pros and Cons” and a psychological training on “Professional Subjectivity”.

All participants will receive a collection of abstracts and certificates of conference participants.
