Current Issues, Problems and Prospects for the Development of Science and Education

Teachers and graduate students of the Faculty of Foreign Languages ​​took part in the First All-Ukrainian Interdisciplinary Scientific and Practical Conference “Current Issues, Problems and Prospects for the Development of Science and Education”.

The event, which took place on April 27-28, was held by our university together with the Council of Young Scholars and Students of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University.

The participants were welcomed by Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor and Rector Ms. Olena Karaman and Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor and Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work Mr. Anatolii Zhuchok.

The participants were also greeted by Dr. Iryna Myhovych, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of International Relations, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages. In her report, she drew attention to the importance of scientific activity and prospects for the development of science in Ukraine in general, because they largely depend not only on the ability of scientists to work at a high professional level, but also their further integration into the international scientific community.

The conference was opened and chaired by Olha Korinska, Chair of the Conference Organizing Committee, Lecturer of the Department of Theory and Practice of Translation, Deputy Chair of the Council of Young Scholars and Students of LTSNU and Ms. Olena Ovcharenko, Deputy Chair of the Conference Organizing Committee, Lecturer of the Department of Oriental Languages, Member of the Council of Young Scholars and Students of LTSNU. 

The faculty members conducted an interactive acquaintance with the conference participants. Ms. Olena Ovcharenko conducted a psychological training on the development of productive coping strategies “Overcoming Behavior” and training “Professional Subjectivity”. Ms. Olha Korinska gave lectures on “Design of a Bibliographic Description in the List of Used Sources” and “Features and Differences of Communication Between Scientists: Pros and Cons.”
