Online seminar for applicants and scientists

On April 27, the Department of Philological Disciplines organized and conducted an online seminar “Actual Problems of Language and Literature Education in Ukraine.”
This is a traditional event within the Science Days, which annually brings together scientists, master’s students, employees of educational institutions of various levels to share best pedagogical experiences, present methodological ideas and developments. This year the storm seminar is dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, with which the staff of the Department maintains friendly scientific contacts. It is gratifying that his work was joined by the head of the Department of Ukrainian Language and Literature of the Institute of Pedagogy of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine O.M. Horoshkina, Professor of Ukrainian Language and Literature of the Academician Stepan Demianchuk International University of Economics and Humanities T.L. Gruba focused on the modernization of teaching methods of the philological cycle in the NUS.
The discussion of approbation of programs and textbooks in Ukrainian language and literature for grades 5-6, which are currently being worked on in pilot schools of Ukraine, became especially relevant. The discussion of innovative approaches to the study of the Ukrainian language and literature by preschoolers and junior schoolchildren, in particular in the context of distance education, also became productive. The participants of the seminar shared their thoughts on optimizing the educational process in the current situation of war, psychological support of children and their parents.
The staff of the Department expresses its sincere gratitude to the participants of the event. The best methodical works will be published in the annual collection of the Department of Philological Disciplines “Methodical Treasury of the Teacher”.
