An online seminar on “Human Health in Wartime” was held on April 26.

This event was organized on the initiative of Luhansk and Donetsk regional branches of the Committee on Physical Education and Sports of the Ministry of Education and Science together with the Educational and Research Institute of Physical Education and Sports of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University.

The speaker was Olena Huzhva, Candidate of Biological Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Human Health. The seminar was attended by teachers and applicants for higher education, teachers of secondary education, coaches and teachers of children’s and youth sports schools, representatives of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine and the Committee on Physical Education and Sports of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. Vadym Stetsenko, Chairman of the Committee on Physical Education and Sports of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, and Rector Olena Karaman made welcoming speeches.

During the online seminar, participants discussed current issues of maintaining their own health in wartime, the negative effects of stress on the human body and methods of neutralizing it, focusing in more detail on the algorithm of action in panic attacks.
