Science Days at the ER ICA

On April 21, the All-Ukrainian Conference “Art and Aesthetic Education of Youth – 2022” took place at the Educational and Research Institute of Culture and Arts.

The conference became a central event within the Science Days held at the Educational and Research Institute of Culture and Arts. Despite the fact that the situation in Ukraine in the field of regional communications is difficult, the conference was presented by 54 scientists (doctors, doctors of philosophy, PhDs, graduate students, master’s students) from six leading institutions of higher education – Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, Poltava V.G. Korolenko National Pedagogical University, Rivne State University for the Humanities, H.S. Skovoroda Kharkiv National Pedagogical University, Sumy State A.S. Makarenko Pedagogical University, Poltava Academy of Continuing Education named after M.V. Ostrogradsky.

The Rector Olena Karaman and the Director of the Educational and Research Institute of Culture and Arts Nelia Nazarenko warmly greeted the conference participants. At the plenary session there were reports on current issues of art education today, the history of music, history of music education, music local lore, problems of education of the actor and director in the theater school, professional training of future teachers of fine arts, etc.

According to the professional orientation of the conference participants, there were three sections – “Musical Art”, “Directing, Audiovisual Art”, “Choreographic Art”. The work of the sections was presented by reports of candidates of sciences, postgraduate students, master’s students. 

The general level of reports of the conference participants, their informative significance demonstrated the effectiveness of art education and aesthetic education in Ukraine today, the focus and ability of young people to raise and address current scientific issues.
