Scientific victories of economists and marketers
25.4.2022
On April 21, the Department of Economics, Marketing and Entrepreneurship celebrated the traditional holiday – Science Day.
The event took place online despite the extremely unconventional and horrible conditions of this holiday this year: war, migration and more. Therefore, there are all the objective and subjective reasons to consider the holding of the Science Day in such conditions as a truly extraordinary and revealing event.
The head of the department, Professor V. Chebotarov, told about the new scientific achievements of teachers: they have just won three European competitions (the department assumes that teachers must first prove their scientific ability). A. Bairachna, Deputy Director for Academic Affairs, and A. Kolosov, Professor of the Department, also extended warm congratulations.
The responsible attitude of students and their scientific advisers to the preparation of reports on the topic of the Science Day: “Ensuring the Development of Ukraine under Martial Law: the Determinants of Economics and Marketing.” The topics of the speeches of higher education students of the first (bachelor’s) and second (master’s) levels turned out to be natural, as the issues of reconstruction of Ukraine after the victory in the war were considered.
From the 17 reports of students and master’s students presented for public speech, the most relevant reports were selected: Ye. Serebriakova (1st year student majoring in “Marketing” on “Marketing Aspects of Economic Security of the Enterprise”; the scientific adviser is Professor V. Chebotarov); O. Boiko (master’s student majoring in Marketing – “Economy of Ukraine in the Prewar Period and Prospects for Future Development”; the scientific adviser is Associate Professor G. Shtapauk); V. Herasimov (2nd year student majoring in “Marketing” – “Assessment of the Deterioration of Ukraine’s Economy Due to War”); K. Bogodukh (4th year student majoring in “Economics” – “Improvement of Credit Unions in the Postwar Period”; the scientific adviser is Associate Professor N. Chebotarova); P. Yeronosov (4th year student majoring in “Economics” – “Scenarios of Postwar Economic Recovery of Ukraine; the scientific adviser is Associate Professor N. Burda); I. Imanov (4th year student majoring in “Economics” – “Behaviorism in Marketing, Economics and Finance”; the scientific adviser is Associate Professor N. Burda).
The best were the reports of the candidates Ye. Serebriakova, K. Bohodukh and P. Yeronosov (also traditionally their victories will be taken into account when determining the semester ratings and when entering the master’s program of the university).
