Ensuring compliance with the academic integrity of the scientist

Scientific and pedagogical staff of the Department of Commodity Research, Trade Entrepreneurship and Goods Expertise joined the scientific webinar.

The webinar on the application of the bibliographic information management system EndNote, from Thomson Reuters “EndNote: bibliography of the article in the format of a journal”, was conducted by the consultant on regional solutions of Clarivate Analytics (head office: London, UK) Iryna Tykhonkova.

During the webinar, a number of questions were answered regarding the existing formats and styles of literature lists, finding out the format of literature in the selected publication, getting acquainted with the possibilities of the reference manager program.

Every scientist knows how important it is in time, and most importantly to present the results of their research in the design of bibliographic information with respect to academic integrity. During the webinar, the application of the bibliographic information management system EndNote Online was considered. Iryna Tykhonkova presented the possibilities of the EndNote bibliographic information management system and the peculiarities of using the Cite While You Write plugin.

The particular attention should be paid to the possibility of creating and filling collections of own articles and articles from leading journals that can be used in the educational process and involve higher education students in educational components of educational components taught by a leading teacher. This will provide an organic combination of teaching and research in the implementation of the educational program in accordance with the level of higher education, specialties and goals of the educational program, as well as ensure constant updating of educational components based on scientific achievements and current practices.

Using all the features of the bibliographic information management system EndNote will ensure the violation of academic integrity and the implementation of this policy in the internal culture of university quality.
