Science Days at the ITS Department

On April 15, the Department of Informational Technologies and Systems hosted Science Days for students majoring in “Software Engineering” and “Computer Engineering”.

One of the main tasks of all staff and students of the ER IPMIT is the development of domestic science. This task will be especially important after the victory in the war, when it will be necessary to restore Ukraine’s economy. It is possible that the IT industry will remain one of the main drivers of our country’s development.

The scientific traditions of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Physics, Mathematics and Information Technologies for the Science Days in the second half of April continued in the military and difficult year 2022. The Department of Information Technologies and Systems held the Science Days in a mixed format, most of them in the form of an online conference organized with the help of Google Meet. They began with a moment of silence in honor of the bright memory of Natalia Lemish and Vitalii Krekin, who died during the evacuation from Rubizhne.

At the beginning of the meeting, the head of the ITS Department, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences Mykola Semenov greeted the participants, briefly described the main areas of scientific activity of the Department and inspired the participants to new scientific achievements.

During this event, students presented their achievements. Among the speakers were: V.S. Kuznetsov, M.S. Kyselov, R. Yu. Berest, A.G. Bakhmet, D.R. Klopov, O.O, Krutko, O.O. Krutko, D.A. Spas, M.O. Bakhtin, V.V. Donchenko, O.I. Oleksienko. 

At the end of the event, Mykola Semenov and teachers of the ITS Department noted the high scientific level of reports and thanked all participants of the Science Days.

According to the ER IPMIT
