Participation in the master class “First Aid”

Teachers and staff of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University took part in the master class “First Aid”.

In the framework of the project “Center for Adult Education – an Environment of Personal and Professional Development” NGO “Center for Adult Education Poltava” and Poltava Regional Organization of the Red Cross held a master class “First Aid” in Poltava. Teachers of our university also took part in the event.

Providing timely and proper first aid can save the victim from death and help him / her recover faster. Therefore, it is important that as many people as possible can provide first aid. By the way, this was taught by teachers, staff and students of our university in Starobilsk before the war.

During the master class, the participants received information on primary care for stroke, heart attack, diabetic coma, epilepsy. Acquired skills in indirect heart massage, bandaging, stopping bleeding, transporting the wounded or sick, providing first aid to infants.

At the end of the event, all participants received certificates.
