Online seminar on emergency care

An online seminar on emergency care was held at the Educational and Research Institute of Physical Education and Sports. 

On April 14, the Institute of Physical Education and Sports hosted an online seminar “Emergency Care in Extreme Circumstances”, which was held by the head of the Department of Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Human Health, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor Oleh Vinogradov.

The seminar was attended by teachers and students of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, representatives of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine and the Committee on Physical Education and Sports of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. Welcoming remarks were made by Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Physical Education and Sports of the Ministry of Education and Science Volodymyr Artamonov and Director of the Institute Oleksandr Dubovoi.

During the online seminar, participants were introduced to the basic principles and algorithms of first aid in the most common emergencies, including sudden cardiac arrest, shortness of breath, critical bleeding.
