Student Pedagogy Olympiad

The Pedagogy Department of the Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology held a traditional Student Pedagogy Olympiad. 

Recently, the Pedagogy Department summed up the results of the first (university) stage of the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad in Pedagogy. Despite the difficult military conditions, the event was attended by applicants for higher education of the first (bachelor’s) level of almost all educational and research institutes and faculties of our university. Participants were offered a complex task that included two blocks:

  • theoretical: students solved tests consisting of questions on the history of pedagogy, general pedagogy, theory of education and training, theory of education, modern learning technologies and the organization of pedagogical research;
  • practical: students performed research and creative tasks, in particular, demonstrated analytical and research development in the form of an essay “The Main Trends of Modern Pedagogical Education” and solved practical pedagogical problems.

The jury consists of the chairman – Acting Head of the Pedagogy Department Victoria Shvyrka and Associate Professor of Pedagogy Olena Sevastianova determined the winners: First place went to Ilia Kurus, a third-year student majoring in “Secondary Education. Physical Culture”, the ER IPES; Second place – Konstiantyn Kiselov, a third-year student, majoring in “Secondary Education. Mathematics. Physics”, the ER IPMIT, and the honorary third place was shared by Vladislava Filippova, a third-year student majoring in “Secondary Education. Physical Culture”, the ER IPES and Maksym Honcharov, a third-year student, majoring in “Secondary Education. History and Jurisprudence”, the ER IHIRSPS. 

IlIa Kurus (ER IPES) and Konstiantyn Kiselov (ER IPMIT) were recommended to participate in the All-Ukrainian stage of the Pedagogical Olympiad.
