Journalists of the TV channel “Public. Poltava” interviewed the Rector of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University Olena Karaman.

On April 5, 2022, journalists of the TV channel “Public. Poltava” visited the Poltava University of Economics and Trade, which temporarily houses the control center of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, and interviewed Rector Olena Karaman.

She spoke about the restoration and organization of the educational process and prospects for the development of the university under martial law and post-war times. The journalists learned about the work of structural subdivisions of LTSNU, which have been operating on the basis of PUET since 2015, and talked with the heads of the Educational and Research Institute of Culture and Arts and the Faculty of Foreign Languages ​​- Nelia Nazarenko and Iryna Myhovych. The media were shown on the monitor screen the online platform Microsoft Teams, which is used to host classes with higher education students, and a canteen where internally displaced persons eat for free.

At the end of their stay with the educators, the journalists visited the dormitory where teachers and students of the University live and were pleasantly surprised by the good living conditions of their residence.
