Participation in the Scientific and Practical Conference

The Head of the Ukrainian History Department Oleksandr Naboka took part in the All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference online.

Within the Science Days of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University and the program of scientific cooperation with the Bohdan Khmelnytsky National University of Cherkasy, Head of the Ukrainian History Department, Doctor of History Oleksandr Naboka took an active part in the online All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference “Archaeological Research in Cherkasy Region in Recent Years: Results and Prospects”.

Among the issues of greatest interest was the archeological study of the multi-layered Ivkivtsi site, where, according to renowned researcher Yurii Bashkatov, there was an active dialogue between early Slavic, Sarmatian and late Roman culture in the early first centuries.

The Ukrainian History Department is planning to participate in such scientific events, attracting staff and students.
