Ensuring a high reputation of a scientist

Teachers of the Department of Commodity Research, Trade Entrepreneurship and Goods Expertise joined the webinar on the problems of protecting the reputation of scientists.

On April 7, teachers from the Department of Commodity Research, Trade Entrepreneurship and Goods Expertise joined a scientific webinar on the reputation of scientists during the publication of the results of the research “Predatory Publications: Recognize and Avoid” conducted by Clarivate Analytics Regional Solutions Advisor (London, Great Britain) Iryna Tykhonkova.

During the webinar, it was found out: how not to make mistakes when choosing a publication for publishing your own scientific works; how to avoid publication in predatory publications, what to look for when choosing a publication; how to recognize the main types of predatory publications; what criteria for the quality of the publication should be taken into account; whether it is possible to print for free; what threatens publication in a predatory publication and how to avoid it; how to check the indexing of a publication in the Web of Science Core Collection, etc. Scientists from all over Ukraine have learned this and much more, interesting and useful.

The participants got acquainted with reference information, with information websites that will help protect yourself from the loss of scientific results, time, money and most importantly scientific REPUTATION.

According to the results of the webinar, the relevant certificates were received.
