Stationary educational weeks for the first – fifth year students of Faculty of Natural Sciences were conducted on December at the premises of Kreminna Professional Lyceum.

The session was attended by the students of specialties “Geography”, “Forest and Park Gardening” and “Ecology, Environment Protection and Balanced Natural Resources”. At the first day the representatives of deanery and department heads held a meeting where they told about the specifics of educational activity at the session.

During the session students-geographers mastered such subjects as “Physical Geography of Ukraine”, “Geography Teaching Methods”, “Cartography and Topography”, “Oceanology Foundations”. The future specialists in ecology and park gardening were learning subjects “Ecology of City Systems”, “Landscaping”, “Biometrics”, “Forest Science”, “Plant Pathology”, “Forest Culture”, etc.

In addition to education process there was a number of socio-humanitarian events. On the eve of Saint Nicholas Day students and teachers visited Kreminna Regional Special Boarding School No. 1 for the children with after-effects of poliomyelitis and infantile cerebral paralysis. Children received fruit, sweets, hugs and sincere smiles.

Also students and teachers attended a round table “Ukrainian State Symbols” where they learned many interesting facts about state symbols of Ukraine.
