A professional scientific seminar was held at the Pedagogy Department. 

On April 12, a scientific seminar on scientific novelty, theoretical and practical significance of the results of two dissertations for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy was held at the Pedagogy Department. Reviews of the dissertation research of Yan Li “Formation of Multicultural Competence of Future Teachers of Music in the Free Economic Zone of Ukraine and China” in specialty 015 Professional Education (scientific adviser – Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Svitlana Shekhavtsova) Associate Professor Oksana Alekseeva; for Kateryna Lyashchenko’s dissertation research “Formation of Innovative Competence During Training Future Primary School Teachers in the Pedagogical College” in the specialty 011 Educational, Pedagogical Sciences (scientific adviser – Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Svitlana Shekhavtsova) – Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Maria Pochinkova and Dr. Sciences, Professor Svitlana Bader.

A lively discussion took place around the presented research, at the end of which the participants of the professional seminar emphasized the relevance of the topics of the work and expressed personal positive feedback. All participants agreed that the works meet the requirements for dissertation research for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy and unanimously voted for their recommendation for defense in academic councils.
