Algebraic Seminar at the University of Colorado
14.4.2022
On April 12, the Department of Algebra and Systems Analysis took an active part in a scientific online seminar on algebra and logic, which took place at the University of Colorado at Boulder (USA).
This research seminar was organized by a group of researchers from the Department of Mathematics at the University of Colorado. The seminar includes all topics of modern algebra, logic and their applications, including general algebra, mathematical logic, model theory, category theory, set theory, set topology and theoretical computer science. The seminar was attended by about 35 experienced modern mathematicians from around the world, including the United States, Colombia, Canada, Italy, Britain, Austria, Slovakia, Poland and others.
Our university was represented by the Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, Professor Anatolii Zhuchok and Acting Head of the Department of Algebra and Systems Analysis, Professor Yurii Zhuchok. We wish our mathematicians further fruitful work and new scientific successes!
