Dear students, teachers and staff, veterans, graduates and future entrants! Everyone who is involved in the big and glorious family of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University!
We sincerely congratulate the whole team, as well as each of us on the 101st anniversary of the founding of our native Alma Mater!
In all times of its existence, Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University has always been, is and remains the flagship of higher education in eastern Ukraine, the initiator and leader of educational reforms, the outpost of Ukrainians in the far east of Ukraine!
Every time the University was threatened – during Stalin’s repressions, World War II, armed aggression in 2014 – it, without losing honor and reputation, always won, recovered and again took the lead in the educational and scientific space of Ukraine!
It will win even now, when the Russian Federation has launched a full-scale war and genocide against the Ukrainian people!
Dear our students and colleagues! You are our pride, hope, confident future! The future of the University depends on each of us, our unity and cohesion! What it will be like after the war depends on us!
We are convinced that very soon the Ukrainian Flag will fly over the whole of Ukraine, and our majestic and indomitable University will expand its activities to all educational bases of Luhansk region and the Autonomous Republic of Crimea including Luhansk, Rovenky, Kadiivka, Brianka, Starobilsk, Rubizhne, Kreminna, Shchastia , Alushta… .. We will work in Poltava, which has become our hometown!
Our common dream is a united, strong, rich, independent and united Ukraine; powerful, progressive and innovative University – educational, scientific and cultural center of Ukraine and Europe!
So forward to our dream!
