Appeal of the Minister of Internal Affairs

The Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine appealed to the Ukrainians with a request to remain calm.

Denys Monastyrskyi noted: “300,000 police officers, National Guardsmen, border guards and rescuers every day carry out their service to protect the internal security of Ukraine. Despite any statements about aggressive actions on the part of the Russian Federation, no one is panicking or afraid. Everyone is just doing their job for the peace of the Ukrainians. We believe in our armed forces! They, together with diplomats and intelligence officers, ensure the external security of Ukraine, and we, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, will not allow any separatist manifestations.”

The most that we, the civilian population, can do now is not to panic and remain calm. “Ukraine is strong and unique. Everything will be fine”.
