Online training for the future teachers of physical culture

The Pedagogy Department conducted a training for students majoring in “Secondary Education. Physical Culture” of the ER IPES. 

“Self-regulation as a means of preventing professional stress and professional burnout of a teacher” – it was the title for a training organized by the Pedagogy Department for the third-year students majoring in “Secondary Education. Physical Culture”, Institute of Physical Education and Sports. The purpose of the event was to form a culture of self-regulation of a future teacher of physical culture, in particular, to familiarize with the requirements for the use of forms and methods of self-regulation of a teacher in the process of professional activity, as well as to analyze the causes of professional stress, its role in the development of destruction and deformation of a teacher of physical culture, practical assimilation of the main ways to prevent and overcome professional stress and burnout.

During the online training, students listened to a mini-lecture by Associate Professor of the Pedagogy Department Inna Kurlishchuk about the nature of professional stress and teacher’s burnout, performed exercises aimed at forming and developing self-regulation skills, and also had the opportunity to present the results of their projects on the use of various self-regulation techniques , including in the context of the educational process of the New Ukrainian School. Special attention of the participants of the event was attracted by the projects of Serhii Antonov and Vitalii Reshetilo “The use of color therapy in working with children to stimulate their physical and mental development”, Ilia Kurus and Kyrylo Sviatun “The potential of music therapy in working with children in an inclusive environment”, Kyrylo Ivanov and Vladislava Filippova “Fairy tale therapy as an innovative health-saving technology in the educational space of NUS”.
