The Psychology Department began the implementation of the international scientific and educational project.
The Psychology Department began the implementation of the international scientific and educational project “Strengthening educational opportunities for psychosocial support and developing the capacity of psychosocial support services in communities in the conflict-affected regions of Eastern Ukraine”, which will continue from February 2022 to May 2023.
As part of the project, it is planned to:
- Develop a flexible blended learning program at basic and advanced levels for SPS workers.
- Establish resource centers at local universities (Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University and Donbas State Pedagogical University).
- Improve the ability of local university teachers to teach NSL components.
- Train students in basic and advanced courses within the framework of the NaUKMA certification program, followed by the provision of evidence-based services by them in their communities with the supervision of project experts.
- Establish effective and sustainable collaboration between local universities and local communities for lifelong learning of psychosocial workers.
- Update the EP at local universities in accordance with the current needs of local communities.
The experts in this project are teachers of the Psychology Department:
Tetiana Pashko – Candidate of Psychological Sciences, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Psychology.
Olena Glichenko – Assistant of the Department of Psychology.
Tetiana Fedotova – Assistant of the Department of Psychology.
The project is very important for the development of the educational and scientific potential of the university and will help in the implementation of an important social mission – supporting mental health in local communities.
