Anti-corruption training

Anti-corruption training took place at the Institute of Physics, Mathematics and Information Technologies.
On February 10, 2022, Volodymyr Matiievskyi, Deputy Director of the ER IPMIT for Social and Humanitarian Work, conducted an anti-corruption training for students on the topic “The role of students in the anti-corruption work of the Higher Educational Institution”.
The training began with interactive activity, with the help of the Mentimeter service, we found out exactly what associations the word “corruption” evokes among students.
Further, Volodymyr Matiievskyi introduced the students to the main signs of corruption, the concepts of integrity and academic integrity, the anti-corruption legislation of Ukraine and the role of students in preventing corruption in HEIs.
Those present discussed what opportunities students have to combat corruption, where they can apply in case of misconduct by teachers. The coach emphasized that each of students must comply with the rules of academic integrity.
At the end of the meeting, the participants decided to conduct the second part of the training “Interaction between a student and an anti-corruption commissioner” by groups in a face-to-face format.
