Victory in mini-football

The team of the ER IPES of the SI “Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University” is the owner of the Cup!

The mini-football “Kreminna Liberation Cup”, which was organized by the Kreminna City Council on the occasion of the 79th anniversary of the liberation of our city from Nazi invaders, has ended.

For reaching the main match of the competition, in the semi-finals, the team “Shakhta” and “IPES” met. From the very beginning of the game, our players seized the initiative and scored three goals in the first half. In the second half there was an equal game, and the Shakhta team had the best realization of chances. The final signal of the arbitrators fixed 5:3 in favor of the team “IPES”. The Soyuz team advanced to the next round of the competition, beating the Police team.

The final match started with a team goal, which was a “cold shower” for our players. But later, having recovered from the starting minutes, the ER IPES team took control of the match and brought it to a confident victory 10:3. The winners of the competition in the IPES team were: Oleksandr Zhurba, Oleksii Komarov, Roman Bondar, Andrii Kirpiakov, Danylo Berezhnyi, Serhii Shchirov, Vladyslav Bulhakov, Maksym Kovalov, Serhii Kurach and Maksym Radchenko.

The winners and prize-winners received awards from the Kreminna City Council. Separate awards with the symbols of the community were awarded to the best players of the competition, namely in the nominations: “Best scorer” – Oleksii Komarov, “Best goalkeeper” – Serhii Kurach, “Best defender” – Denys Vertiukhov (“Shakhta”) and “Best player” – Oleksii Borshchov (“Soyuz”).

The competitions were organized by the Kreminna City Council and held by the Kreminna City Center “Sports for All” with the assistance of the leadership of the Luhansk Regional Sports Center “Olimp”.
