The head of the Department of Ukrainian Philology and General Linguistics was included in the book “The Golden Fund of the Nation. Anniversaries of Ukraine. Events. Names. Accomplishment”.

Professor, Doctor of Philology, Head of the Department of Ukrainian Philology and General Linguistics Kateryna Hlukhovtseva celebrates her anniversary today. Due to this outstanding event, her figure is included in the book “The Golden Fund of the Nation. Anniversaries of Ukraine. Events. Names. Accomplishment”.

Throughout the life, the specialist explores the peculiarities of the language of the inhabitants of the Luhansk region for the glory of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University. Kateryna Dmytrivna is the author of more than 300 scientific and scientific-methodical works, a member of editorial boards, Excellence in Education, Honorary Professor of the University, Laureate of the All-Ukrainian Borys Grinchenko Prize; she was awarded with medals and a badge.

The Professor is the author of 2 monographs; under her strict guidance, textbooks for students and schoolchildren were published. The Department of Ukrainian Philology and General Linguistics headed by Kateryna Dmytrivna collected material and published the Dictionary of Surnames of the Residents of the Luhansk Region; for 15 years a collection of scientific papers “Linguistics” has been published. The All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference ,,Slobozhansky Conversation” is held annually. The scientific heritage of Kateryna Dmytrivna is a solid contribution to the philological field not only of Ukrainian, but also of world scientific thought.
