Final certification at the Department of Musical Art and Choreography

The final certification of master’s students took place at the Educational and Research Institute of Culture and Arts.

The Department of Musical Art and Choreography of the Educational and Research Institute of Culture and Arts of LTSNU hosted the state final certification of master’s students majoring in 025 “Musical Art” and 014.13 “Secondary Education (Musical Art)”, which lasted for a week.

Svitlana Borysova, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor, Dean of the Faculty of Performing Arts and Musicology of the Kyiv Municipal Academy of Music named after R.M. Glier.

In addition to defending master’s theses and an exam in professional and pedagogical skills, in which master’s students showed a high level of knowledge, they took an exam in professional disciplines. The latter always turns into real concerts.

Unsurpassed vocals were demonstrated by the master’s students majoring in “Variety Vocal” and “Academic Vocal”. The Institute’s mixed choir assisted undergraduates in the Choral Conducting and Secondary Education. Musical Art specializations in choir conducting exams. 

Special attention was focused on the performances of instrumentalists, these are the specializations “Orchestral String Instruments”, “Piano”, “Folk Instruments”, “Orchestral Wind and Percussion Instruments”, and “Variety and Jazz Musical Art”. Conducting an orchestra, performances by chamber ensembles, a pop-jazz ensemble, an ensemble of folk instruments – all this is an integral part of the final certification of future artists and teachers.
