Meeting of the Council of Young Scholars with students who learn oriental languages

A meeting of students of the Faculty of Foreign Languages with the chairman of the Council of Young Scholars took place.
A meeting of students of the Faculty of Foreign Languages studying oriental languages with the Chairman of the Council of Young Scholars of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University Mrs. Lina Bondarenko and a member of the Council Mrs. Olena Ovcharenko took place.
The Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists of LTSNU drew attention of the audience to the main tasks of the Council, the purpose of which is, inter alia, to create conditions for the development and realization of scientific potential of the university youth and involvement of students in national and international research projects, etc. Ms. Lina Ihorivna Bondarenko noted that her job responsibilities include disseminating information about conferences held at faculties. She also observes with interest the activities of scientific circles of the Faculty of Foreign Languages.
The head of the scientific-discussion group of future orientalists, a lecturer at the Department of Oriental Languages, Ms. Olena Ovcharenko, reported on the activities of the group, on events that had already taken place and the progress of preparation of scientific papers for participation in the All-Ukrainian competition of student research papers in the specialty 035 “Philology” in the 2021/2022 academic year. The meeting was attended by members of the scientific discussion group of future orientalists, scientific and pedagogical staff of the Department of Oriental Languages and its head.
At the initiative of the Council of Young Scientists, future orientalists were invited to join the all-Ukrainian initiative “Book to the Defender” and donate to the libraries at military hospitals a collection of materials of the International scientific conferences held annually at the Faculty of Foreign Languages. The publications of educators and scientific and pedagogical workers in these collections are devoted to the scientific topic of the Department of Oriental Languages ”Cultures of the peoples whose languages we study” and relate to the cultural characteristics of countries such as Japan and China.
